Aluminum foil jumbo rolls are semi-finished products continuously rolled by mills and wound onto reels, featuring extremely wide widths and long lengths. These serve as raw materials for downstream processors including container and packaging manufacturers, requiring further slitting, forming, and printing to become final consumer products.
Aluminum Foil Composition and Characteristics
Aluminum foil is not pure aluminum but consists of alloys with small amounts of added elements to enhance mechanical properties and processing characteristics. The most commonly used alloy series are 1xxx (pure aluminum) and 8xxx (other elements).
