5083 Aluminum Coil Applications

1. 5083 marine grade aluminum coil. 5083 aluminum coil can be used for yacht, cruise ship, etc., such engine seat, deck of ship, side of ship, bottom, outer plate and so on.

2. 5083 aluminum coil for vehicles. Such as aluminum alloy tank car body/ tank body, automobile fuel tank, gas storage cylinder, bus skin, C82 coal truck, automobile roof/ bottom plate, etc.

5083 Aluminum Coil Features

Al5083 aluminum coil can be regarded as the representative product of 5 series marine aluminum sheet, and the states include O, H111, H112, H116, H32 and so on.

5083 aluminum strip has medium strength, good corrosion resistance and formability, high fatigue resistance, and is generally used as the main structure of the hull.

Others such as 5052, 5086, 5454, 5456, etc. are also mostly used in hull structures or containers, pipes, hulls and decks.

Packaging of Aluminum Coil

Yongsheng aluminum coil is placed on a wooden pallet or wooden box, wrapped perfectly with waterproof craft paper, and then fixed with a narrow strip of iron.

Usually, we have six layers of packing: put on wooden supports and put desiccant, wrap moisture proof film, wrap the plastic film, wrap the moisture-proof cotton, wrap the plastic moisture proof film again and pack it with cardboard.

F: free processing temper

O: Annealing temper

H: work hardening temper

W: solid solution heat treatment temper

T: heat treatment temper

O: Annealing temper, suitable for processed products that have been fully annealed to obtain the lowest strength

Hxxx temper:

H111: It is suitable for products that have undergone an appropriate amount of work hardening after final annealing, but the degree of work hardening is not as good as that of H11.

H112: It is suitable for thermal processing and forming products, and the mechanical properties of this state have specified requirements.

H116: Applicable to products made of 5xxx series alloys with magnesium content ≥ 4%. These products have specified mechanical properties and exfoliation corrosion resistance requirements
