5754 Aluminum Circle/Disc Quality Requirements

1. Cracks, corrosion spots and nitrate traces are not allowed on the surface.

2. Peeling, air bubbles, surface roughness and local mechanical damage are allowed on the surface with a depth not exceeding 8% of the nominal wall thickness of the part where the defect is located, but the maximum depth of the defect cannot exceed 0.5mm, and the total area of defects does not exceed the total area of the plate 5%.

3. Allow the supplier to polish the profile longitudinally until the surface is smooth.

Mode of 5754 Aluminum Circle Production

When it comes to the process of producing, Aluminum Circle is usually directly cutting from aluminum coil or the aluminum plate, usually, if the thickness of Aluminum Circle is less than 3.0 mm, the form of piercing blank feeding directly will be applied. If the thickness of aluminum circle is between 3.0 mm and 100 mm, according to the precision demands, aluminum circle board face demands, the bar cutting, laser cutting, CNC water cutting, cutting will be used for blank feeding production. When the thickness of Aluminum Circle is higher than 100 mm, our usually adopts aluminum rod sawing for production directly, special circumstances will adopt CNC water cutting and cutting precision processing mode.

Packaging of Aluminum Circle/Disc

Yongsheng aluminum circles are packaged and shipped in wooden boxes, cartons or pallets. The specific outer packaging method and material depend on factors such as the size, weight, quantity, and transportation distance of the aluminum disc.

Smaller aluminum discs will be packed in cartons. Cartons are usually sized according to the size and quantity of aluminum circles, and cushioning materials such as foam plastics are added inside to prevent collision and extrusion during transportation.

For large size or large quantities of aluminum circles, wooden pallets are usually used for packaging. The wooden pallet can effectively support the weight of the aluminum disc, and has a stable shape and structure for easy handling and transportation. At the same time, during transportation, the aluminum circles also need to be fixed on the pallet with tape and other materials to ensure that they will not move or tilt.

5754 Aluminum Circle/Disc Heat Treatment

1) Homogenization annealing: heating at 440°C; heat preservation for 12-14 hours; air cooling.

2) Rapid annealing: heating at 350-410°C; holding time 30-120min; air or water cooling.

3) High-temperature annealing: heating at 350-420°C; when the thickness of the finished product is ≥6mm or <6mm, the holding time is 2-10min or 10-30min; air cooling.

4) Low temperature annealing: heating at 250-300°C or 150-180°C; holding time 1-2h, air cooling.
